How to play

Four rules. Endless good moves.

Sixes takes a minute to learn. Finding the best move is the part that keeps you playing.

  1. Six tiles in hand

The bag holds 108 tiles: six colors, six shapes, three of each. You always play from a rack of six.

  2. Match one thing

A line shares one color or one shape, and never repeats a tile. Three red tiles with different shapes work. Two red stars don't.

  3. Play in a straight line

Place one or more tiles in a single row or column that connects to the board. Stuck? Swap tiles or pass.

  4. Score every line you touch

Each tile in a line you create or extend is worth a point. One tile can score two lines at once.

Watch a game take shape

Keep scrolling to play it out. Two players take turns laying tiles, and every full line of six is a Sixes worth 12 points.

Make a Sixes

A full line of six, all one shape or all one color, scores its six tiles plus a six-point bonus.

Sixes! 6 tiles + 6 bonus = 12 points.
